Touchline The Truth.

I first heard about the artist called Touchline when I saw him perform his song 5 Grand on Live Amp, at the time I have never heard of him but the moment I heard that song I knew I had to find out more about him because that song was amazing. Every black person who was raised by a single parent can relate to that song, he speaks on the hardships and challenges that the youth faces in today's society, he also touches on absent fathers. The 5 Grand song in my opinion is almost like "Love Yourz" by J.Cole,because the songs almost have the same message.
Touchline is a lyrical genius, the way he plays with words is just out of this world. His lyrics can make you think and see something in a completely different light, he is one of the best up and coming artists we have in South Africa. He dropped his debut album called "18 Flow" in 2018, in it was an amazing album. He really showed his skills,abilities and diversity on the album. My personal favorites are ,Award Shows, Facts, 5Grand, Just a Mil, The Procedure, Zone 6 and These Shoe ( lol I think I mentioned 90% of the songs on the album). He  dropped two singles, one is called Thula (featuring Blaklez a lyrical genius in his own right and Yallunder and Bongane Sax) and they talk about the youth killings that are happening in the country and he also dropped another single called Nyakaza where he showcases his amazing lyrical abilities.
In my opinion Touchline is a lyrical master, one of the best artists we have in South Africa. If you haven't listened to his songs you are missing out on some great music so I suggest you start listening to it. Touchline is the future.

Emtee's second studio album Manado was really a great project,filled with smash hits. Had that album been marketed right it could have done amazing numbers just like his debut album Avery. He is one of the most gifted we have in South Africa, and his music speaks for itself. Usually when artists have a great debut album their second album isn't as good as their first but in my personal opinion I feel like Manado was a great second album because it showed growth in Emtee's music,it didn't sound the same as his debut album. Rouge- Queen of the New Era

I started listening to Rouge after I heard her verse on the Baddest Remix by AKA, she had one if not the best verse on the song. Everything about her verse was exceptional,the way she switched flows,languages and what she said in that verse was something special. I didn't listen to her for a while after that but when she dropped her debut album "New Era Sessions" in 2017 I was hooked again. She really showed her versatility on that album,her bars were totally amazing,every song captures your attention and makes you take note of her lyrical content. The storytelling on songs like "Celebrity" and "Sheba Ngwan'o" just to name a few are great and she paints a very vivid and great picture with her words. The Weeknd The Greatest Artist Of Our Time.

After Hours was where my journey began with the artist know as The Weeknd, from the very first moment I heard that album I instantly became a big fan, I mean sure I had heard of him before but there was something about the After Hours album that made me see him in a different light. The After Hours album is one of the few album across all genres that I can listen too without skipping any songs, that's how amazing Abel made the album.
